This patient underwent osseous genioplasty with a 7 mm chin advancement to improve chin projection and overall facial balance. At 17 months after surgery, the results demonstrate a stronger chin profile, improved jawline definition, and better harmony between the chin, lips, and nose. Unlike a chin implant, osseous genioplasty repositions the patient’s own bone, allowing for precise correction of a recessed chin while creating a natural and lasting enhancement of lower facial proportions.
